One of many photos taken by Arne's camera (who was taking the picture??) on the day of travel back to the United States.
Grandpa Arne took 13 trips to Norway between his immigration year of 1921 and his death in 1975.
Notice that Josefine is wearing black on this day. Does this reflect her sadness to see her son travel back to his home?

Hi, I don't know who took this picture, but I know that Grandpa Arne took many pictures using the self-timer on his camera. He also had a camera with an early form of a remote control. I wonder if that's what is hiding behind his hat. -Nancy Aalgaard Hanson
